Frequently Asked Questions About Our Wall Decals
Q~ I love this design but would like it in a different color, is that possible?
A~ Yes, indeed! All of our wall decals are available in your choice of 42 matte colors. You can see our color chart here.
Q~ Why wall decals?
A~ This one is easy! Because they are the ideal way to add a custom touch to your home. No mess, easy to apply, fun colors & designs, and they look hand painted!
Q~ Do you offer custom designs?
A~ Yes, we love to work on custom designs! Just send us an email to leenthegraphicsqueen@gmail.com with what you have in mind and the measurements of the area you have to work with. Feel free to include a picture of the room the decal will go in.
Q~ How hard is it to apply wall decals?
A~ It’s really easy to apply wall decals. All orders include easy to follow instructions along with our telephone number in case you need to contact us.
Q~ How about removing wall decals? Is that difficult?
A~ Not at all! Just start from a corner and peel them off.
Q~ Will my wall decal damage my wall?
A~ No. We use special vinyl that is made for interior use. Along with it’s beautiful matte finish (no ugly shine here) it’s less adhesive than outdoor use vinyl. If you do have adhesive residue just wipe it off with adhesive cleaner.
Q~ How long do I have to wait after painting to apply my wall decal?
A~ The vinyl manufacturer recommends waiting at least 2 weeks after painting to apply wall decals. If you do not wait the recommended time your wall decal may not adhere.
Q~ I have slightly textured walls, will wall decals work?
A~ The answer is YES! Our decals work fine on slightly textured walls. Just use extra care when applying your decal to make sure that it gets into all the little “grooves”. Brick walls or other highly textured surfaced are not compatible with wall decals.
Q~ What other surface types are incompatible with wall decals?
A~ Flat paint, graffiti resistant paint, high gloss paints are all incompatible with wall decals.
Q~ Can I remove my wall decal and reuse it somewhere else?
A~ Wall decals are removable but not reusable.
Q~ I would love to give a Leen the Graphics Queen gift certificate. Are they available?
A~ Yes, we offer gift certificates in any denomination and will either email you or the recipient the special code or we’ll be happy to pop a hard copy in the mail for you. Just send us an email to leenthegraphicsqueen@charter.net
Q~ How long will it take to receive my decal?
A~ All of our decals are made to order. We usually ship them within 2-3 days after the order is placed. US orders will arrive 2-5 days after that. Please allow 3-4 weeks for international shipping. It usually doesn’t take that long but occasionally does due to hold up at customs.
Q~ What is your return policy?
A~ Customer satisfaction is our number one priority. You may return your decal within seven days of receiving it for a full refund or replacement.

Q~ I am having a hard time getting the decal to come off of the backing paper. What can I can I do?
A~ Because of the matte finish, it is sometimes difficult for the tape to get a grip on the decal. The simple solution is heat.
- Heat the masked graphic for two minutes, holding the dryer or heat gun about 2 inches from the tape.
- Apply pressure with a squeegee to force the tape’s warm adhesive into the 631’s textured face stock.
- Turn the masked graphic over, set it flat on the table, and peel the liner backwards, away from the tape. It will come off cleanly and easily.
